THE MINERAL HILL GOLD MINING AND MILLING COMPANY, #69, issued October 22, 1895, uncancelled, good plus condition: folds; and glue stain on left margin.  Mining property in Cripple Creek, Colorado.

 

THE MARGARET GOLD MINING COMPANY, #236, issued July 19, 1899, uncancelled, near fine condition.  Mining property located in the Cripple Creek Gold Mining District, Colorado.

 

THE LITTLE CORPORAL GOLD MINING COMPANY, #786, issued November 24, 1899, uncancelled, near fine condition, usual folds.  Printed on certificate: El Paso County, Cripple Creek Mining District.

 

THE DEFIANCE GOLD MINING COMPANY, #145, issued January 22, 1881, uncancelled, very good plus condition, several folds.  Printed on certificate: Central City, Colorado and Chicago, Illinois.

 

THE PORTLAND GOLD MINING COMPANY, #1703, issued August 16, 1895, cancelled, very good condition, with two folds and some light staining to left margin.  Mining property in the Cripple Creek Gold Mining District, Colorado.

 

THE COLORADO TRADING AND TRANSFER COMPANY, #62, issued January 13, 1913, cancelled, signed by Jesse Waters as president.  Cancellation is in pencil.  The Colorado Trading and Transfer Company was the corporate entity that launched the Carlton brothers on their illustrious Cripple Creek mining careers.

 

THE CREEDE AND CRIPPLE CREEK MINING AND MILLING COMPANY, #4058. issued March 28, 1905, cancelled, signed by Frank G. Peck as secretary, but no presidential signature.  Certificate is in very good plus condition with a tiny nick out of the upper left-hand margin.  Mining company had property in both the Cripple Creek and Creede mining districts of Colorado.
