Digitized image from glass-plate negative: Elk Mountain House, 2nd and Elk Avenue, Crested Butte, Gunnison County, Colorado, 1881 – 1882.  Attributed to photographer M. Brumfield, who worked in both Gunnison and Crested Butte at this time.  Glass-plate dimensions: 8” x 4-3/4”.  Condition: very good plus.

Good Hope Mine, near Vulcan, Gunnison County, Colorado, circa 1896.  The Good Hope was discovered during an 1890s mineral rush in the Gold Belt District of Gunnison County.  Photographic image from a glass-plate negative.  Glass-plate dimensions: 7” x 5”.  Condition: very good plus.
