Original 1896 bird's-eye-view map of Cripple Creek, Colorado Original map, printed in 1896, this five-color bird's eye view is of the Town of Cripple Creek, surrounding producing mines, such as the Independence, Portland, Gold Coin, Elkton, El Paso, Anchoria-Leland, Abe Lincoln, Vindicator, Moon-Anchor, Christmas, Isabella and others; as well as the Town of Victor is a work of art as much as it is a superb reference. Illustrated by Phillips & Desjardins, Denver, Colorado: Western Litho Co., 1896. Condition: near fine; a few tiny flaws that are not readily visible (map has to be studied carefully to locate these); museum-mount. Excellent original color. PRICE: $15,500.00
